The purpose of my email is to provide our customers and suppliers with information relating to Stourflex’s operational position re COVID 19 epidemic.
Firstly, I would like to clarify how the company intends to support the wide range of industries we serve but in particular critical sectors which need our products and technical services.
While we have always operated as an office, warehouse and site based operation we have been able to introduce a significant amount of home based working with 80% of 15 staff being able to work from home and we will remain with this type of arrangement for the foreseeable future.
Our Directors, Sales Team and Accounts department have full access to their work pc stations and therefore can access all aspects to support their job role.
We have arranged for our warehouse to remain open for a shorter period of the working day than normal but with adequate time to despatch any available goods from stock and will close after the last outside transport company has collected our daily consignments which is normally around 2.30pm.
We have also arranged for one member of the team to be in the office to support any sales and technical support required. Again this will be on a restricted basis similar to the warehouse.
We must confirm that we will not be undertaking any external site or customer visits during this period and should the need to hold discussions which may have required us to view an installation or application this can only be done via video call or photographs. However, the remainder of the directors, sales team will be available by email and we are confident we can continue to support your sales and technical requirements during this difficult period.
Karen Leckey our Company Accountant again is working from home but with full access to our systems to support the operation.
The company’s board of directors will continue to operate the business on this basis for the foreseeable future or until otherwise advised / instructed by the ever changing situation.
The directors believe we have in place a set of procedures that actively promote safe working for our staff and deliver a service to our customers and suppliers.
It is our intention to offer the highest possible service that we are able during this difficult period however if you feel we do fall short on any occasion please contact me and I will seek to address and issues you have or provide an explanation as to why we have not met your expectations.
Thanks to our customers and suppliers for the continued support and understanding during this unprecedented period.
