Karen who joined the company in 2011 as the Sales & Accounts Administrator has through her hard work and dedication now become the company’s Finance Director.  Karen has completed all the CIMA examinations and is awaiting confirmation of Membership of The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and the CGMA Designation.

The skills and knowledge that Karen has accumulated over the years along with her qualifications means that not only are Stourflex in very safe hands on the financial side but she is also in a position to help drive the company forward in all aspects of the business.

We are both pleased and sad to announce the retirement of our former Managing Director Steve Yardley. We are pleased to see Steve being able to enjoy his retirement but sad to lose his knowledge, experience and personality from the organisation. Steve who had been with the company just 2 months short of 45 years leaves to spend time with his family, friends, hit the golf course and hopefully watch his beloved Wolves win some football matches.

Steve, we hope you enjoy it, you deserve it.

One of our Project Managers Daniel Baker has successfully completed his degree of Bachelor of Science (Honours) Second Class (Upper Division) in Building Services Engineering. The knowledge gained has further enhanced Stourflex’s knowledge in Pipe Expansion as well as Noise Vibration and Water Filtration and Treatment.

The project team is also pleased to see our Project Engineer Ainsley complete his course in Building Services Engineering Level 3. Ainsley will now continue to follow in Dan’s footsteps.

Our Project Manager Daniel Baker and his lovely partner Emma have recently seen their family increase by one with the addition of their beautiful baby girl Esme. We looked forward to Dan teaching her the ins and outs of Pipe Expansion.

Stourflex are now able to offer flange bolt kits for our standard EPDM bellows for our 32mm to 100mm PN6 tied and untied and 32mm to 300mm PN16 in tied and untied.

The bolt kits have been specifically selected to suit the flange thickness for out Rubber Bellows. They are supplied as zinc plated carbon steel. Each kit has a bolt, a nut and a washer in quantities matching the drilled holes for the flange.

We decided to offer the Bolt Kits after the enormous success of our custom fit lagging jackets. The convenience for installers to have the exact fit accessories all from the same supplier has been extremely well received.

The bolt kits will become available on additional product lines in the near future.

Stourflex are pleased to announce that we can now supply Vexo products including the X-Pot range, Stainless Steel Dosing Pots, a range of system chemicals, filters, and PD Monitors. Stourflex will hold stocks of these products, which will allow for short delivery times.
