Application

Stourflex tied rubber bellows are designed to reduce noise and vibration imposed on pipework from pumps and reciprocating machinery. They are suitable for L.T.H.W. & C.H.W applications (please see the Stourflex chemical compatibility chart for a full list of suitable flow media).

Maximum cold test pressure = 1.5 x working pressure or 1.5 x flange rating, whichever the lower.

Maximum Pressure & Temperatures

Up to 90°c6 Bar
Up to 82°c10 Bar
Up to 70°c16 Bar

Lagging

Stourflex are now able to offer a tailor made flexible lagging jacket to help reduce heat gains & condensation on CHW systems. Please ask for more information.

*We would not recommend the insulation of rubber bellows being used on hot water or heating applications as this can drastically reduce the life expectancy of the bellows leading to premature failure.
